Here is one of my of all time favorite themes from a video game called “Skyrim”. Skyrim certainly is an amazing game which kind of sets place in the dark age with dragons and thousands of other mystical creatures and of course you play the hero or the so-called dragonborn. It kind of reminds you of the book or tv series “Game of Thrones: A song of Ice and Fire” or the other way around. Apart from the magic, the dragons and so on it’s really realistic when it comes to talking to ingame people. You can also have a wife and a baby, but from what I’ve heard it’s really annoying to have a kid. Anyway, I guess most of you aren’t interested in all of this and basically, I just wanted to show you this song. It’s not a song everybody likes, you may even hate it, but I adore it. It reminds me of the main theme Pirates of the Caribbean. They are equally epic in my opinion. Oh and the language in this song was invented solely for the game.
This video is a cover, I just really like Lindsey and it’s not so different from the original.

“The Last of us” is an incredible game. It is about an outbreak of a mutant Cordyceps fungus ravages the United States, which transforms human hosts into cannibalistic monsters. At first I thought I could never play it because I hate scary films, games or books. I am the kind of person who gets easily frightened.
However, my brother bought it for my twentieths birthday, so he asserts that I have to begin it. I did and I couldn’t stop. The storyline is amazing. It isn’t just scaring or horrifying, it is also about friendship, pain, love, loss and sorrow.
It allows us to gain an inside into Joel’s life, which is the main character. At the beginning he lives with his daughter, Sara in Texas, but after the epidemic careers they have to flee. During their escape his daughter dies because a soldier shoots at them. The first part ends.
Twenty years later, most of civilization has been destroyed by the infection. Also Joel has changed. He is not the person, who he was before Sarah died. He works against the military, which provides the safety in the quarantine zone. With his friend Tess he smuggles things outside, like people or food. Their next job is to transport Elli, a 14-year old girl, to the fireflies outside the zone. They sneak out in the night, but a patrol catch them. Tess and Joel can free themselves, can kill the soldiers, plus they find out that Elli is infected. Elli claims that she was infected three weeks ago, which is impossible because full infection occurs in under two days. Furthermore, she believes that she is the chance for a cure.
Tess and Joel smuggle Elli to the destination, but they just find out that the fireflies there have been killed. What’s more, Tess has been bitten. She provides that Joel and Elli can flee because the patrol has found them.
After their escape they have to fight their way to the fireflies, which includes hordes of infected, hunters, who want to kill them and loss, which they have to accept to stay alive. Furthermore, in the end things were to turn out quite differently.
The characters are astonishing. The story is exciting. The game is addictive.
I am not a real gamer at all, but if you like films like “World War Z” or “Zombieland” you should try “The Last of us”.
This is the trailer of the game. Enjoy it.

sounds really interesting, I think I’ll buy it 😛
I usually don’t have any problems with horror movies, but I do when it comes to games, Normally, I just can’t myself to direct the character into a room or house that looks scary.. but let’s see
