    “Arcitecture & Design”

I would like to recommend a magazine or rather a side on facebook which is called “Arcitecture & Design”.
Lately I was looking through facebook and by pure chance I came across an advertisment refering to this side.
I can hardly remember the reason why I chlicked on this side but I think it was an interesting looking picture of a house.
As I skipped through their websites I found a lot of awesome inspirations mainly refering to decoration and of which you can easily make a use of.
That´s the reason why I would recommend this website especially to creative heads and to do-it yourselfer.

They give a lot of suggestions how to jazz up anything you can imagen (f.e. lamps, clothing, food, bowls…). Moreover the realization is mostly for little or even no money, cos they use daily things, rubbish but also things from the nature like plastic bottles, glas, paper, leafes, remant… So you get lots recycling tips and therefore you can save a lot of money.
In my opinion some advice often are really helpful a they just look gorgeous.
Despite everything I have to confess that I haven´t tried any of these ideas because I had no time – but my list lengthens.
This is an inspiration for the gardeners among yourselves 😉

What´s more, there are unbelieveabled awesome houses and flats with outrageous interior furnishing pictured. I´m sure you´ll get lots of inspirations for your own flat or house (hopefully they´re affordable)
An example for those who are interested in:

But there are also amusing articles like “things you had no idea you needed”and then you see photos of a squirrel chair, a piano doorbell, a motorized Bumper Car Boat and other spacey things.

I hope some of you can benefit from my advise 🙂

Thanks Miriam for the recommendation! I’d take the tree house in Costa Rica and those resorts in St Lucia look fabulous too. And the clock tower in Brooklyn of course 🙂

I’m excited that the illustrator Chris Riddel has been crowned the new Children’s laureate! The Children’s Laureate is a British literature price awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of children’s literature. He has taken over the title from my personal heroine Malorie Blackman (“Noughts & Crosses”) who has held the title for the past two years.

Chris Riddel’s drawings range from the innocent to the daring and downright creepy, but all share the same inherent beauty that stirs something in the spectator’s heart. I fell in love with Chris Riddel’s art via Neil Gaiman (another hero of mine). I simply adore their collaborative work “The Sleeper and the Spindle”, such a powerful, imaginative and feminist story 🙂 He has interpreted as famous works as Swift’s Gulliver, but also has his own famous Goth Girl series, among many others.

You can check out some sample’s of his work here. I promise, your life will be that much more meaningful after seeing those pictures!
