I want to show you a song of one of my favorite bands “The Killers”. The song is called “When You Were Young”. I’ve already seen them live and they are extremely good (who do you think was standing in the front row?). However, they also seem a little bit arrogant. They just played their songs and went off the stage without saying much. I must say that I was slightly disappointed. Nevertheless I’m glad I’ve watched their show. So check this one out right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkkE7yDXr6g&hd=1 if you’re curious

Thanks for the link, I didn’t know this one; it’s really good, especially the lyrics, but I think there are even better songs by The Killers. I particularly like their new one Shot at the night and I adore the video. Anyway, they have the amazing ability of telling these big stories that are so inherently American. I just love them!
It’s a pity though that they don’t seem to be interested in giving concerts or in their fans, after all it’s the fans who make them rich and successful …

Do you know that feeling in summer when you’re happy and then, perfect for that situation, you hear a specific song and you know “That will be my summer song of this year” ?
Since I’m a little bit “music-addicted” I use songs for keeping the good memories in mind.
This year I had a really cool journey through the USA and one late night we were driving through the landscape of California and I was watching the car lights passing.
I put my ear plucks in and chose the song “Pompeii” from the rock band “Bastille”.
The lyrics are quite dark, melancholically and tell about things in life that don’t change even if you wish that they would do. You’re searching for a solution of a problem but you can’t get to one. You’re standing in front of a wall, thinking you’ve been there several times before but don’t know how to go through it. Here’s a short extract of the lyrics:

But if you close your eyes,
    Does it almost feel like
    Nothing changed at all?
And if you close your eyes,
    Does it almost feel like
    You’ve been here before?

Even though it is not a “for bad days”-song but more a song you enjoy listening to.
The rhythm is clear, the shouting at the beginning is cool, the drums are hot and, yeah, it’s a really catching tune and definitely on my list of the best summer songs ever!
For those of you who know that song already I want to point out that there’s also an album called “Bad Bloods” by Bastille- by the way they’re a British four-piece consist of members.
Well, I love every single song of them and can’t wait until they are on tour in Austria.

Here’s the link to the song- it’s worth to klick on that one 😉

I know this summer feeling too. This summer I was driving with some friends along the coast of the Croatian sea and heard the song “Danzare” from Vito Lavita. The windows of the car were open, the wind blew through our hair and I smelled the fresh and salty air.
This song just expressend my happiness in that moment although I didn’t understand a single word 😉 I think the text is Spanish.
However, this shows that music appeals to everyone, no matter if you understand the lyrics or not. The feelings you get during listening to songs are in most cases caused by the melody and harmony, not by the text.
So enjoy the song, and forget about the lyrics (except you speak Spanish) 😀

I heard this on the radio quite often during the summer, too. It reminds me of the lake and the mountains and the sun and the smell of sunscreen. Funny what music does to your brain.
Awesome that you went to California, maybe you could hold a mini presentation and show us some pics when you have time, I also want to get that “California feeling”

Sure, I would enjoy showing some pictures. It’s always dark and foggy outside so I need a ‘bright’ memory to get me out of this grumpy feelings. 😉
Is it possible to hold the presentation a week after the English test?

Oh, there’s also a typo in my entry. The name of the album is “Bad Blood” not “Bad Bloods”.

I just wanted to show you a song I have heard recently.

It’s „Dice“ by Finley Quaye. I watched the TV series O.C California (it’s not a new one, maybe you know it?) for the last 4 weeks I think and in the first season (episode 14) there is one of my favourite scenes. It’s New Year’s Eve and Ryan (the main actor) hurries to his girlfriend Marissa to celebrate the turn of the year with her.
And in this scene you hear the song „Dice“.
I think I like the scene that much just because of this song.

I would describe it as a love song but it’s also a thoughtful one. I like listen to it when I have to think about my own life, because it puts me into the right feeling.

Maybe you are interested now to listen to one of may favourite songs. Anyway, I’m interested in your opinions.

I want to tell you something about the band „Dawa” from Vienna. I saw them last year on a concert and they were just great. It was their first big concert and they were very nervous, but the audience loved them from the beginning on. I only know their first album “All we need is patience”. Unfortunately the album has only five songs on it, but I think they just released a new one. You should definitely check that out! I always listen to their songs on Spotify or on YouTube, because they are not that popular in Austria and so they don’t sell their CD’s in music stores. What I love about their music so much is that they use so many different instruments, you can see that in the link below. One of my favorite songs is “Chasing Ghosts”, it was the first song they played on the concert and I was just fascinated.

Thanks Julia for the link. It’s a really melancholic and beautiful song, it sounds like O.C. 🙂
And thanks Elisabeth, I don’t know the band, but I’ll definitely check them out on youtube

Music is really important to me. I listen to music everday. So I think the last lesson with Martin was really interesting, because we were talking about American and Austrian folk music. Furthermore we heared typical American folk music songs and in my opinion it sounds much better than our folk music. 😉

I really enjoy listening to the Irish folk music band „Flogging Molly“ (I don’t know if you have ever heared from them) and one day I want to see this band at a concert. My favourite song is „If I ever leave this world alive“ and there are two reasons why I love it.

The first reason is that the songtext is really great. It is like a promise that he will always be there for her to make her feel better, no matter if he lives on earth or in heaven.

The other reason is that this song is the soundtrack of the film „PS: I love you!“, and I love this romance <3. It is about Holly, a woman who is utterly devastated because her husband Gerry died a few weeks ago and she can’t live without him.
But what Holly doesn’t know is that before Gerry died, he wrote Holly letters that will guide her through her life.
On Holly’s 30th birthday the first letter arrives in form of a tape recording from Gerry. He tells her that she should go out and celebrate her birthday, otherwise he will be very dissapointed. In the year that follows, more letters from Gerry are arriving in surprising ways. Each letter sends her on a new adventure and is signed with „PS:I love you.“
At the end the letters help Holly to bring her back to life.

So everytime when I listen to this song, I think about the film and get very emotional. This song touches my heart and I when I hear it I want to see „PS: I love you“ immediatly.
If you want you can listen to the song and tell me your opinion. 🙂

I have just listened to the song. I don’t like the voice of the singer, but you are right, the lyric is really good. The song is very touching – and yes, it reminds on “PS: I love you”. I have seen the film after reading the book and it’s a great story – I love it! But if you only saw the film, I think you should read the book – to my mind, the book is better than the film (maybe I think so, because I love reading, but my sister also thinks that the book is better 😉 )
If someone wants to read it, I think you will find it in our school library 😀

I just wanted to talk a bit about the band “The Imagine Dragons” or rather about a song from them.
They are one of my favourite bands, because their songs are always so profound and they are straight from the life, I think.
My favourite song from them at the moment is “On Top of the World”, ´cause for me this song shows a part of life, where everybody goes through sometimes.
When I heard this song for the first time, I immediately turned up my radio and started to dance crazy though my room ;-)
Furthermore I think the German translation is also very good to read (maybe you´re going to check it out). :-)
One of my favourite parts in this song is when they are singing:

    I´ve had the highest mountains
    I`ve had the deepest rives
You can have it all but not till you prove it

It is such an amazing part and this is only one small excerpt of the whole song.
This part is also in German very cool, I think.

To sum up, their songs are definitely worth to hear.
Whether they are sad or whether they just sparkle of zest for life, their songs are unpretentiously great.
Overall I love their songs und I enjoy listening to them almost every day.

Music is everywhere on the whole world. A good Friend of me had show me a singer and now I’m really interested into his music. The name of the singer is Jake Bugg. He comes from Nottingham in the UK. His music is a mix of a bit Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and Bob Dylan. He wrote and sang a few songs like Two Fingers, Lightning Bolt and he is only 19 years old.
My favorite song is “What Doesn’t Kill You”. In this song he is singing about the Life. A German proverb says: “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”. I think he wants to say that things can hurt you, but everyone knows this feeling and you don’t have to worry. When you are against the World you should hear it. It could possibly helps you to forget bad feelings. I hope you also like this great song or others from Jake Bugg.

I want to show you my actually favourite song. Do you know the song “I need your love” by Calvin Harris? I really don’t like it! But a few days ago i was surfing on the internet and i found a page with covered songs. I listenend to a cover of “I need your love” by Harriet Hill and i absolutely love her voice. She sings the song with so many emotions that i could cry when i hear it.

I’ve never heard such a good cover like this!

    Hey there 🙂
I also want to show you my favourite song Runaway.
This song is by Mat Kearney and it is the soundtrack from the movie Soul Surfer. So far, he has written a lot of ther songs but I think that this is his best song, because the song has a good tune and great lyrics.

The song deals with letting someone go and the secrets of life. He touches upon the problem and negative experienses people have. The messages is that it is your own decision, what you do, because its your life.

I like the song because you can easily play it with the guitar and it isn’t so difficult. I personally think this song helps to get through difficult times and when you have problems. I usually listen to this song, when I relax in my room and think about my life.

All in all, I like the song and it is my favourite song at the moment. I would really recommend that you listen the song because it is a really great song and you can also play it on the guitar.

Years ago I’ve bought an album ( “Bullet”) of him, just because of the 50 percents off sale in my favourite CD-shop.
Since then I always listen to his music when I’m down or need time to relax ;))

    Hello everyone 🙂
I want to show you one of my favourite bands “Green Day”. It’s a punk rock band from the US and I really like their songs.
I’ve already seen them live and I really enjoyed the concert. They tried to heat up the mood and to interact with the audience.
Their songs are quite rocking but they also have calm ones.

    Hey guys 🙂

During the last few weeks I had a lot of stress and as a result I really enjoyed listening to Music at night – it felt like I did it for hours.. (falling asleep happened not that rarely 😉 )
However, I noticed that I don’t have a specific favourite song which I could show you now.. Of course there are some songs I really like and I also have some favourite bands or sort of Music I really prefer listening to (like Irish Music/Mumford&Sons/Flogging Molly/The Pogues; Reggae; some kind of “Oldies”; Russkaja; Krautschädl … the list is long) – but I am the kind of person who needs variation. In other words: I can’t listen to a band more than about 3 songs in a row..
As a result I created a new Playlist on my iPod a few days ago and i looooove it! It includes so many different genres that you CAN’T even get any bored while listening.. 😉 It includes some bands or kind of Music which I’ve already talked about above – but I also focused on some songs that where also new for me.
I love sitting “in front of Youtube” and surfing during hundreds of different songs and stuff – I would do it for hours if I had any time for that 🙂

(I am curious about how much time it will take during I will need another variety.. 😉 )

Nevertheless, I just wanted you to know what releases me from stress and here I give you a cutout of my Playlist:

    Have a nice day 🙂

Russkaja rock 😀 I looooove Mumford and Sons!!! You should definitely check out Damien Rice if you like Irish music, such beautiful and melancholic songs. Here is one of my favourite songs by him. It’s a duet with Lisa Hannigan (in my opinion most of his best songs are duets)

      • Julia Pircher
        March 9, 2014

I didn’t know Damien Rice before – and all I can say now is: WOW he is really awesome!! I haven’t listened to all of his songs yet but I will definitely check out the rest of his songs! His voice is so touching and warm – I think he is on the best way to find a place on my iPod playlist 😉

I agree with you, I also cannot listen to a band more times a day. When I am at home I often listen to Kronehit and then I sometimes hear a nice song, but I don’t know how it is called. Listenig to music makes me happy and gives me power to do things for school, especially when I am tired.

My favourite song is also “Wake me up”, but the original version by Avicii. This song makes me happy and this song represents for me that somebody gallops with a horse through the woods and the person hears the wind blowing around him or her. When I am on my horse Silfra, I often listen to this song and then it feels like a very great moment.
The phrase “Wake me up” to me means that I am only in the one thing that I do at this moment. For example when I am on my horse and I listen to the song, I forget everything around me. This song is very great.

I really love his music, he has written some really great songs. My favourite ones are 9 crimes, I remember, Cannonball, Blower’s Daughter and Amy. I like that his love songs aren’t corny at all, they are very honest but still beautiful

  26. Julia Pircher
    March 15, 2014

I listened to many of his songs and I can say he really touches me with his music. Especially the live-version of his song “I remember” is pretty awesome. I like how he creates his songs and how they change their sort of music during the whole song. I absolutely didn’t expect that this song envolves in such a different way than it has been at the beginning. I like this kind of craziness in his melancholy songs!

    • christianegassenbauer
      March 15, 2014

That’s true. “I remember” starts out as the most romantic song ever and then turns into something completely different. There’s a lot of pain in that song. As I interpret it, it traces the development of a totally unhealthy relationship which is based on dependence and inflicting pain on each other. It is a crazy song, you’re absolutely right!

  27. Julia Pircher
    March 16, 2014

Yes you can interpret it in such a way especially when she sings “I can’t believe what I found” “I was stood in your line” “Nothing is taken me down – except you my LOVE..”
Following, he answers with the words “this isn’t love this is porn – God will forgive me – But I whip myself with scorn” “I wanna hear what you want – what the hell you want?”
The way how the background music goes along with the lyrics makes the song really passionate. Especially when Damien Rice screams impulsively during the last few minutes.

    • christianegassenbauer
      March 16, 2014

Good interpretation! These are the verses I would use too in order to support my claim 🙂 But I guess there are many interpretations because the song isn’t something I would call straight forward. Fortunately, good music allows for different interpretations. After all, it’s not truth that we find in a text, it’s little bits and pieces of ourselves

    • Julia Harvey
      May 9, 2014

Wow, I’ve really got goose bumps.
The way he looks and sings in the camera make me feel sad.
At first I didn’t want to read the book because I find “cancer”-stories always a little bit exaggerated and corny. I have a very close friend whom mother died last Christmas because of cancer and the story of her long illness wasn’t romantic or funny at all. She struggled a lot, was weak and often didn’t find the strength to do her job as a mother of six children.
However, in most of the books I’ve read about this topic the stories are made up, over-the-top and in the end the main character found his/ her “love for the life” (boyfriend or girlfriend).

Surprisingly, the book “The fault of our stars” was different. I wasn’t able to put down the book and I cried a lot in the ending.
It didn’t change my opinion about that type of novels but it made me more sensitive to people with cancer.
We really should help these people but we should never forget that “they” are not one specific group, but a group of different characters fighting with the same diagnosis.
For example, the main character in the book often handles selfish and gives her parents a rough time. That doesn’t mean that every person with cancer acts like her.

To sum up, I’ve just wanted to say that we should see the person behind his or her illness
and treat them like we want to be treated by others if we would be sick.

      • christianegassenbauer
        May 9, 2014

I absolutely agree with you. I never read these kinds of “problem” novels either because mostly they are just full of clichés. But The Fault in Our Stars is first and foremost a book about love and it raises really important questions like “What’s the purpose of life?” “What happens when we die?” and “What’s my role, why am I important?”. And these questions are universal.

The other thing you wrote about cancer is something that is very important to the author, at least he has mentioned it a lot, i.e. that he didn’t intend to write a book about an illness but a book about two teenagers who fall in love, about two people whose story is unique, as is every person’s story, whether ill or healthy, happy or lonely. I am so thankful for that book, it’s a little treasure. And although it is sad, it doesn’t make you feel bad because it’s buzzing with life, which feels great.

But I can understand that it is very difficult if you know someone who died of a severe illness like cancer because there is nothing romantic about it. The more important it is, as you have mentioned, not to think about the person in terms of their illness, but to see them for who they are. Everything else robs them of their dignity.

They are extremely likeable and the leadsinger is hilarious, I even took a picture with him and got myself an autograph on my shirt which I had bought shortly before. My admiration for their music is not as great as when it comes to Fall Out Boy but it’s pretty close.
I also admire the music video of this song, it’s too funny 🙂

    Hello everyone 😀

I want to tell you about a really sad song by Andreas Gabalier and I also attached a video clip for you. I heard the song this week when I watchend the TV- show “Tauschkonzert”. The original song is by Xavier Naidoo. The title of the song is “Amoi seng ma uns wieder” and it is a really sad song and whenever I hear it I sometimes have to cry because it touches my heart.

This song reminds me of all the people I lost and who are dead and so this song gives me hope because I am of the opinion that one day I will meet them again.
This song is als great because it is accompanied by a guitar and this is what makes the song catchy.

I really recommend you to listen to the song because it is a nice song.

I have to admit that I am not a big fan of Andreas Gabalier, but you are right the song’s very moving. And from what I’ve heard he’s got a quite sad family history. Sometimes I really wonder where and how people find the strength to go on despite the terrible things that have happened to them.

Yes, he had a really sad past and for me is that really admirable that he can handle with his really sad experience.

I am also not a big fan of Andreas Gabalier, but this song is pretty good.
It always gets me goose bumps when I´m listening to it.
Normaly I´m not listening to this kind of music, but when i hear ´Amoi seng ma uns wieder´ i can´t stop listening.

I think it is really impressive that he is able to sing this song again and again at his concerts. If I was him I would be crying the whole time.

Carola already mentioned that Xavier Naidoo also sang this song. I think his version is more moving than the original.

Here is the link if you would like listening to it:

I love music. i always listen to music. whether i sit on the bus or ride a bike.
I like almost every sort of music and i like it to listen and download new songs.
Last year I was on a festival called “FREQUENCY” and i didn’t know any band. But after listening to them I really likes their songs. For example Tenacious D or system of a down.
This year I’ll also visit Frequncy and there are bands I know that I like them.
I am really looking forward to that.

I write about the song “same love” from Macklemore.
The song is about being gay and things they have to struggle with (oppression, no acceptance, insult…).
Whats more, Macklemore wrote about his own experiences. Based on this he makes his opinion clear and he wants to stand up for equality.

The reason why I chose this song is because I was touched by this song when I heard it the first time. It made my think about my own attitude in terms of gay people, my prejudices, my choice of words and so on.

I totally agree with Macklemores opinion. Furthermore, I think everyone who is different in some sort (skin colour, religion, sexual preference…) and doesn’t fit our expectation of social standards, has to struggle with swearing and the feeling of being not accepted.

This kind of injuring happens for example by a rash choice of words.
For instance we call people and things “gay” if we don’t like them, thus, the word “gay” becomes a synonym for inferiority.
The reaction from society about outings is foreseeable for affected people and they get afraid of their own feelings. Instead of an outing they hold back their feelings and they start living a life they actually don’t want.

My opinion is, that everyone should get the feeling of acceptance and respect.
This equality would make living together much easier and more peaceful.
But… “no law’s gonna change us, we have to change us!”

a song for all the dreamers out there…

I started listening to this song while I was in Malta and I immediately fell for it.
I cannot explain why it moves me so much but I truly like it, the sound kind of calms me and it will always remind me of my amazing time in Malta, like lots of other songs will like e.g. “I got u” from Duke Dumont or “A shot at night” from the Killers (I highly recommend both of those songs!).

I hope u enjoy DREAMERS as much as I do!

Also there is a new song from Fall Out Boy called “Centuries”. The beginning will remind u of another song everybody knows for sure. Check it out!

Check out this song by Lorde. As usual with Lorde, we get words that run deep, an appealing sound, and oh my, this ethereal voice of hers! And on the Mockingjay soundtrack!!! What can I say, it’s just perf!

I’ve already watched Mockingjay Part 1 and I was more thrilled by the soundtrack than by the story itself.
When Katniss sang “The Hanging Tree” I got goosebumps and I felt like my heart stood still. What a breathtaking and emotional scene!

For everyone who consider to watch the movie, I would definitely recommend you to go 😉

P.S: By the way, it’s a catchy tune. I had the melody in my head the whole last week!

It sounds a bit like prom and high school, but it’s great fun to listen to. So with “Saturday” and lot’s of party attitude I wish everyone at our school a nice semester break!

The notices of supervarious always tend to go into my spam ordner..
Anyways, I really like their old songs from before their split up! (of course now they are back together again – luckily!)
A friend of me preferred the singer the way he was back then when he was a little bit more chubby, now their music tends to go more into the direction of pop then in previous times.. I like it though 🙂

    February 25, 2015

Yeah you can hear people say that about any band: “I really liked their early work before they went mainstream. I thought they were cool before everyone else did”. I mean, of course, every artist develops over time and trends come and go, and that’s also how the music industry works. Apart from that, I think that their new stuff sounds more mature and less cheeky/boyish, maybe even less pop (although I don’t get it what’s so bad about pop music). But maybe that’s just my impression.

Personally, I’m not bothered by that as long as I like their songs, their old and the new stuff. It’s like with Green Day – everybody’s comparing a new album with Dookie, which is silly, obviously because it was recorded twenty years ago. Yes, it was a great album, but I’ve also liked every album since.

After all, it’s all about the music 😉

I want to introduce you a song, some of you may already know. It’s a very old one and i just fell in love with it.
The name of the song is “Stop crying your heart out” and it’s by the band “Oasis”. The band is also known for other songs like “Don’t Look Back In Anger” or “Wonderwall”.
I just want to tell you a little something about the band. So, it formed in 1991 in Manchester. They were four men (later five) and the leader/singer was Liam Gallagher.
The song is all about getting over something an holding on. At the beginning it says: “Hold up. Hold on. Don’t be scared. You’ll never change what’s been and gone.”
So if you think about that it’s a really deep song. The tune and the Melody is also really deep and you can truly say it is a ballad, but not like a clishé one. More like a power ballad, not because of the tunes more because of the lyrics.
If you summarize the lyrics it tells about life and problems in life. Even if everything seems to go worse, it’ll get better some day. You should take everything you need and stay on your way, just stop crying and worrying so much.
That’s just why I love the song. The message it tells. We should all remember these words when life is bad for us.

And at the end, a saying for all of you.(it is not in the song but i love it!) “When life shuts a door. Just open it again. It’s a door, that’s how they work.”

    Green Day – Revolution Radio

Green Day is back with a new album and an upcoming world tour! After the somewhat disappointing “Uno, Dos, Tre” series, fans have been hungry for the typical Green Day sound – and this new album doesn’t let them down. Although I’ve read that some die-hard fans are not thrilled about the allegedly radio-friendly mainstream sound, I cannot share their opinion at all. It might be true that some songs sound a bit unusual. For example, one user on Youtube compared their song “Still breathing” to a cliché Katy Perry song. However, I personally don’t have anything against a more lyrical sound (and nothing against Katy Perry per se). What’s more, I’m against condemning pop songs just because they belong to the genre, it’s like hating something on principle. In my opinion, Green Day have managed to come up with a great album, which is partly back to the roots and partly exploring new territory. The message in itself practices self-awareness and raises the question what has happened to Punk music. Simultaneously, it answers this question in the typical Green Day – and Punk – fashion: We don’t care, we just make our own rules. The songs are less political, but still critical of society and the music industry, but less harsh in their judgement compared to American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. Yet, their new songs resonate with the chords and sounds of these albums. In the end, it’s full of positive messages and proves that Punk doesn’t always have to promote an “I don’t care” attitude, but that you can be an optimist while being critical of society and its norms; that you can enjoy life to the fullest without being a complete douchebag. I kind of like that idea. And then there is the fact that I can’t stop listening to the album 🙂 Catchy tunes and great lyrics, that’s all I need!

So I have this special song I hear very often and I almost cry every time I hear it.
It’s called ‘Mrs. Potato Head’ and the artists name is Melanie Martinez.
The song is mostly about plastic surgery but contains so many issues that especially concern young girls.
It’s about how society shows girls how to look and what they have to do if they are dissatisfied with their looks. It is also about relationships and that a girl is only attractive to a man if she has the perfect face and looks exactly like he wants ‘his girl’ to look. It also contains the fear of growing old and not be beautiful anymore and all you have to do against it is having plastic surgery.
What all of these topics have in common is the lack of self-confidence and self-esteem of young girls. The belief of not being beautiful enough even though they are
It has lots to do with mental health and the thoughts of young girls.
All the lyrics Melanie uses in her songs are written by her as well as the music and the direction in her videos. In an interview she said that writing ‘Mrs. Potato head’ was one of the most difficult songs she wrote because she wanted to write about plastic surgery but not in a bad way. I personally think she nailed it.
The way she writes about it gives me the feeling that everybody has to decide on their own if it’s a bad or a good thing but having plastic surgery in the context to look good to others isn’t good.
The thing is the song is based on plastic surgery, but it somehow shows how society treats girls.
That girls must act that way and when they don’t have what it takes they have to have plastic surgery and change themselves to something else. What can also be the reason such girls get depressed, have mental problems and have no self-confidence.
Melanie uses a really ‘childish’ language and metaphores that are…let’s say…a bit extra. But that is also what makes her so unique and that’s also why I love her and her songs. She’s so different from many other artists. For newcomers she may seem crazy and entirely bonkers but she’s such an extraordinary human being and she puts so much heart in her songs.
I think I could write about this song forever but I guess I should come to an end for now.
Here is the link to the song:

Certainly an unusual song and an interesting artist. I think her appearance is part of her art so it’s great that she wrote a song about plastic surgery and beauty ideals. Particularly if you work in that industry, it must be hard. But there sure is lots of pressure for every girl and woman to live up to those beauty ideals perpetuated by the media. And social media exacerbates that problem. Thanks for sharing the song! I’m sure many girls can relate ☹️
